Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Montessori Learning Concentration
Designed for practicing Montessori educators who wish to complete a bachelor’s degree after completing their MI-NE program of studies. Endicott College’s Montessori Learning Concentration combines liberal arts coursework with the philosophy and practice of Montessori education. The flexible online program allows adult learners to build upon previous college coursework while receiving credit for prior Montessori learning and professional experience through a Prior Learning Assessment portfolio. Coursework develops critical thinking, communication, action research, educational theory, and interdisciplinary perspectives across the humanities, sciences, psychology, and education. The degree provides a pathway for Montessori teachers to complete an undergraduate degree while continuing to work in the classroom.
