Montessori schools and organizations are welcome to share employment opportunities with our community of current adult learners, alumni, and Montessori educators. Posting on the MI-NE Job Board is a complimentary service intended to help connect schools with qualified professionals who are committed to authentic Montessori practice. At present, MI-NE supports employment opportunities for Infant & Toddler and Children’s House Montessori educators, reflecting the communities we currently prepare and serve.

To provide applicants with the information they need, we encourage schools to include:
- School name and location
- Position title
- Employment type (full-time, part-time, temporary, etc.)
- Age level or program (Infant & Toddler, Children’s House, Leadership, etc.)
- Position description and key responsibilities
- Required and preferred qualifications (including Montessori credential expectations)
- Salary range and benefits, if available
- Anticipated start date
- Application instructions, including a contact person, email address, website, or employment link
- A brief description of your school and its mission or link to website

Teach with MI-NE
We are always interested in connecting with experienced Montessori educators who are passionate about preparing the next generation of Montessori teachers. As our programs continue to grow, we welcome inquiries from qualified professionals interested in future faculty opportunities.
In keeping with the standards of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and MACTE, MI-NE instructors are expected to hold an approved Montessori credential appropriate to the level they teach, demonstrate experience, and possess the knowledge, professionalism, and reflective practice necessary to mentor adult learners. Faculty members should also have strong communication skills, a commitment to collaboration, and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
Educators who are interested in teaching in our (or any) AMS-affiliated teacher education program are encouraged to complete the AMS Instructor Academy and Good Practice and Innovation in Online Learning, which prepares experienced Montessori professionals for the unique role of teacher educator. Instructor Academy provides valuable preparation in adult learning, curriculum design, assessment, mentorship, and best practices in Montessori teacher education.
