Master of Education in Montessori Integrative Learning
The Institute for Educational Studies (TIES) at Endicott offers a unique graduate pathway that allows students to earn graduate credit while simultaneously completing your training at MI-NE. Through joint enrollment, adult learners pursue both Montessori teacher preparation and graduate coursework, integrating the practical work of Montessori training with advanced study in educational philosophy, leadership, and research. Participants develop an individualized emphasis area that reflects their professional interests while exploring themes such as ecological awareness, peace education, diversity, social responsibility, and human development. The program emphasizes reflective practice, action research, and the preparation of educators who view Montessori education as a means of contributing to a more just and sustainable world.

Master of Arts in Montessori Education and Leadership
The Master of Arts in Montessori Education and Leadership is intended for educators who already hold a bachelor’s degree and an AMS credential through MI-NE. The program builds upon existing Montessori preparation through graduate study in educational leadership, research, child development, equity, exceptional learners, and instructional innovation. Students complete an action research project while exploring strategies that strengthen Montessori practice and prepare them for leadership roles within schools and the broader educational community. The fully online format allows experienced Montessori educators to earn a master’s degree while remaining active in their professional practice.

Gordon College
Master of Education in Early Childhood Education with a Montessori Concentration
Gordon College partners with Montessori teacher education programs to provide a graduate pathway leading to both Montessori teacher credential through MI-NE and a Master of Education degree. Students complete Montessori credential coursework alongside graduate-level studies in literacy, curriculum integration, child development, inclusive education, and instructional strategies. The program is designed for educators seeking both Montessori certification and an advanced degree that deepens their understanding of teaching, learning, and diverse learners. Graduates may also pursue additional coursework leading toward state teacher licensure, making the program an attractive option for educators interested in both independent and public Montessori settings.
